Student Life

Bilkent University is a non-profit, research oriented university located approximately 15 km from downtown Ankara. The university has more than 10,000 students and teaching staff of more than 900. At Bilkent University class sizes are kept relatively small, thereby allowing a genuine interaction between students and faculty. The University has a library that contains more than 350,000 books and also periodicals, subscriptions, microfilms, CD-ROMS, access to numerous on-line databases and electronic journals and audio/video cassettes. In addition to offering a model academic environment, Bilkent University provides ideal social, cultural, and sports opportunities for students.
