Marketing
Ph.D. Student lands academic job in UK
 |
|
Baskın Yenicioğlu, our second graduate from the
Marketing Ph.D. program, has also secured a position in
the UK at the prestigious Henley Management College as a full-time Academic Fellow. He
will become a member of The School of Reputation and
Relationships, and will teach in their MBA and MSc.
programs
Baskın says “Henley appears to be the perfect place for
me as a rookie academician as the school equally
emphasizes all three aspects of academia and encourages
their members to link together their research, teaching,
and consultancy for synergy. Therefore, I will be able
to relate theory and practice on a daily basis and
actually see my research make an impact. The School of Reputation and Relationships, where I will
be joining as a member, is a very dynamic place nowadays
as they are in the process of developing a new MSc. in
Marketing and I will be able to provide an input for
this program as well. The School works with many of the
leading organizations in the world and a big portion of
the students are executive managers in these
organizations, which necessitate the members of the
faculty to be on top of their game, and I will do just
that.” |
We wish Baskin the very best as he starts a hopefully very
successful and fruitful academic career and also congratulate
our Marketing Faculty for the second Ph.D. student placement in
a leading international school.
